<br />1. The four Phases shown on this map are the operations areas for the
<br />mining and reclamation activities that constitute the development of this
<br />property as a series of water storage reservoirs.
<br />2. Activities within each Phase will Include, but is not limited to, mining of
<br />sand and gravel, construction of reservoir liners, grading, resoiling and
<br />revegetation of the above -water perimeter areas of said reservoirs.
<br />3. The Plant Site shown in the Phase 4 will be used throughout the life of
<br />the mine and activities may include, but are not limited to, processing the
<br />sand and gravel (crushing, washing and screening) ; crushing and
<br />recycling of concrete and asphalt materials; batching of ready -mixed
<br />concrete; batching of hot -mix asphalt; stockpiling of raw and finished
<br />products, and sales of said materials.
<br />4. The Plant Site shall include the necessary processing plants and
<br />equipment to conduct the activities listed above. For the sand and gravel
<br />processing, and the concrete and asphalt recycling, the processing
<br />equipment shall include, but is not limited to, crushers, screens,
<br />conveyors, stackers, feeders, log -washers, and other necessary
<br />processing equipment. For ready -mixed concrete, and hot -mix asphalt, a
<br />concrete batch plant and an asphalt batch plant may be installed and
<br />used for the life of the mine.
<br />5. The approximate locations of (2) Conveyor Crossing Envelopes are
<br />shown hereon. The exact location and size of the crossing areas will be
<br />determined prior to installation. A Technical Revision will be filed
<br />showing the exact location if different from show on the Map Exhibit C-1
<br />Mining Plan Map. These crossings will be used, when approved by the
<br />Town of Platteville, to build overhead conveyor facilities to transport raw
<br />material from the north side of County Road 32.5 to the processing plant.
<br />Using over -the -road conveyors would greatly reduce heavy off-road truck
<br />traffic that would cross the paved road. Conveyor facilities will be
<br />removed when reclamation is complete.
<br />7. The reservoirs will have gravel access roads around the perimeters of
<br />each reservoir and the rest of the perimeter area will be revegetated with
<br />a state -approved seed mix.
<br />8. Access points for each Phase are shown on this map. The accesses to
<br />the Phases will be used to move equipment, needed during mining and
<br />reclamation, from one area to the other. The access point into the Plant
<br />Site from County Road 21 will be used by customers' over -the -road
<br />trucks to transport finished materials to market.
<br />9. Each Phase may continue to be used for agricultural purposes until the
<br />permitted mining operations begin in the area.
<br />10. The FEMA Flood Plain (Zone A) shown hereon is approximate and
<br />represents the best information available at the time this document was
<br />created and is subject to change.
