Permit Renewal RN-08; Response to DRMS Preliminary Adequacy Review
Dear Ms. Reilly:
Enclosed is Trapper's response to the Division's preliminary adequacy review comments. DRMS comments
are included with Trapper's response following.
Rule 2.03.4 Identification of Interests
Submitted with the application, revised page 1-6 updates corporate officers, Trapper Mine owners, Board of
Directors and Members. DRMS and Trapper Mine Inc, are working through this information in order to
procure the necessary AVS checks.Not all required information was provided with the application as per
adequacy question 1 below.
Map M1,Surface Control as provided in the application delineates surface owners contiguous to the permit
area and corresponds to revised pages 1-15 and 1-15a.
Map M2, Coal Ownership as provided in the application delineates leaseholders, adequately addressing
2.03.4(6)(b). This aspect of the Rules is adequately addressed with the exception of:
1. Map M2 Coal Ownership does not show the new State Surface lease 112309 as referenced in revised pages
submitted. Please update Map M2 indicating the location of the above referenced lease.
Trapper Response to Rule 2.03.4 Comments:
State surface lease 112309 is not included or referenced on Map M2 as it is the surface use lease for State
of Colorado Lands leased to Trapper Mine. The area delineated by this surface lease is different from the
area delineated by the sub-surface lease 102407. Reference to a surface use lease would not be relevant to
the sub-surface ownership map. The new surface lease is referenced and delineated on Map MI.
August 2022 DRMS
In order to execute a preliminary AVS check, DRMS has received various email correspondence providing
the information required for Rules 2.03.4(3)(c) and 2.03.4(4)(b) for individuals with ownership, control
responsibilities.
2. Please consolidate these into proper revised pages and submit as such.
3. As further information regarding the above rule is updated please provide as revised pages.
