All review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of filing. Snowcap Coal Company, Inc proposes to continue underground coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land located approximately 5 miles North of Palisade, Colorado. This renewal application does not propose revisions to the approved mining and reclamation plan, nor is there any proposed surface disturbance outside of the currently approved disturbance area. The permit area is further described as follows: T10S, R98W, 6th PM Sections 26, 34, and 35; T11S, R98W, 6th PM Section 2 all in Mesa County. The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map(s): Cameo. Snowcap Coal Company, Inc. has submitted an application for renewal of the Roadside Portals in accordance with Rule 2.08.5(2). No coal extraction is anticipated, and only reclamation and maintenance activiites are anticipated during this permit term. The applicant is required to publish notice in the The Daily Sentinel that this permit renewal application has been deemed complete. At the time of publication of this notice, the applicant is
