Enclosed, please find Attachments 1-4 in the following order; the map
detailing the boundary adjustment and associated coordinates, a demonstration of the legal right of entry,
and pages twenty eight through thirty of the Standard Reclamation Cost Estimate (SRCE), detailing closure
costs for the area. The closure costs for the Carlton Tunnel area were calculated assuming ten percent of
the sediment ponds will be excavated every five years, equating to approximately ninety six cubic yards.
This number was then multiplied by four to represent twenty years of maintenance through the life of mine.
Thus, 383 cubic yards has been added to SRCE on the "haul material sheet" increasing the financial
warranty by $656 plus indirect costs.
Please note that the full, updated SRCE cost estimate is included in the electronic submission of this TR to
align with Amendment 13 Adequacy Review responses. Additionally, as requested by DRMS, a KMZ file
is included in the electronic submission of this TR. As discussed with DRMS via phone on September 9,
2020, in order to avoid having to duplicate efforts of marking the boundary, it will be marked upon approval
of this TR, with photo evidence submitted to DRMS within one month of the approval date.
Enclosed, please find check number 200045887 in the amount of $1,006 for the technical revision fee.
Should you require further information please do not hesitate to contact Katie Blake at 719-689-4048 or
Katie.Blake[u•Newmont.com or me at (719) 689- 4042 or Justin.
