The bond release application was found complete by this Division on December 16, 2019. All review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act and the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining initiate from this date of filing. A requests for partial phase III comprising 437.1 acres and, phase II and phase III combined comprising 379.5 acres, for a total of 816.6 acres. The requested areas include Federal, State and private ownership. The surface ownership is federal and private, and the coal mined was federal and private. The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 9 miles South of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: T5N, R88W; All of Section 15; Portions of Sections 9, 10, 11, 14, 16, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 34, and 35 T6N, R88W; Portions of Sections 14, 23 and 24 T6N, R87W; Portions of Sections 17, 18, 19 The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map(s): Hayden Gulch.
