Currently the approved route for the pipeline
starts at the CMP manhole near the 6MN Shaft access road where the 5MN water line cross the road. From there
it was routed up along the access road and ran west to the southwest corner of the 6MN pad, from there it was to
follow the Passive Treatment two-track ranch road that is to be used to access the system. The new proposed
route will be a considerably shorter distance and less disturbance. The new proposed route will tie into the
second CMP manhole to the south of the 6MN access road on the 5MN water line. From the existing CMP
manhole the pipeline will be dug in a straight line to the inlet area above the first Wetland cell. This will reduce
the length of new proposed pipeline from approximately 4,850 feet to 2,670 feet.
This submittal includes a revision application form, an exhibit to be placed in Exhibit 49EE and a revised Maps
23C, 24, & 29 showing the proposed line location. This revision should cause no increase or decrease in the
bond amount and therefore no bond estimate is necessary. We would like to proceed with this project as soon as
possible. We, therefore, appreciate your consideration, cooperation, and assistance in facilitating timely review
and approval of this revision application. After you have opportunity to review the accompanying information,
please feel free to contact me with any questions or to discuss submittal materials or related matters.
Sincerely,
Twentymile Coal, LLC
A"I kjc
Miranda Kawcak
Environmental Engineer
