Welt <br />Environmental Engineer III <br />kwe It(cilarc hcoal. com <br />Phone: 970 929 2238 <br />RECEIVED <br />JUN 14 2019 <br />DIVISION OF RECLAMATION <br />MINING AND SAFETY <br />Re: Mountain Coal Company, LLC, West Elk Mine; Permit No. C-1980-007; <br />Minor Revision No. MR -435: Reduced and Revised Longwall Panel SS1 MVBs & <br />Roads <br />Dear Mr. Simmons: <br />Mountain Coal Company, LLC (MCC) submits this letter, the attached application form and <br />map entitled, "MR -435 — Revised MVB Road and Pad Locations for Sunset Trail Panel 1" for <br />Minor Revision MR -435 to reduce and revise the MVBs and roads for longwall Panel SS1. <br />MCC staff and US Forest Service personnel have completed field reviews of the currently <br />approved pad locations and road alignments resulting in the proposed location adjustments <br />shown on the map. Four pads and nearly 1600' of road, totaling about 3 acres, will be <br />eliminated by this revision.
