A routine inspection conducted by the Colorado <br /> Department of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety(DRMS) on March 21, 2019 identified a finding <br /> with DRMS requiring a corrective action to be completed by June 10, 2019. <br /> Problem: <br /> Water in the LDS-6 VLF I leak detection sump has not been removed, nor have water quality <br /> laboratory results been provided to the DRMS characterizing the water. <br /> Corrective Actions: <br /> Provide photographic evidence of removing all water in the LDS-6 sump and water quality <br /> laboratory test results to the DBMS. <br /> Response: <br /> CC&V shares the understanding for the need to monitor the valley leach facility(VLF) Leak <br /> Detection Systems. Specifically, CC&V remains committed to adhering to the monitoring and <br /> notification requirements described within the M-1980-244 Permit documents. Within these <br /> documents, the Cyanide Emergency Response Plan, as part of Volume IV of the approved <br /> Amendment 11 submittal (as well as a number of preceding amendments), outlines the <br /> monitoring responses and notification requirements for the key solution collection features of the <br />
