The nearest town to the project is Clifton, County is Mesa. NE-1/4 of the SW 1/4 , Township <br /> TI S, Range R2 E, PM Ute. It is located in Clifton, Colorado. <br /> 2. The site of material extraction is on privately owned property <br /> 3. The type of material is pit run / cobbles and sand <br /> 4. The extraction process is being preformed by a 330 Track hoe and haul truck. <br /> 5. The extracted material will be used on the same parcel of property where the material was <br /> extracted. <br /> 6. The extracted material will be used to build up a road and other areas to prevent flooding <br /> during the rainy season and high water. <br /> 7. N/A <br /> 8. The approximate areal extent of proposed extraction will be less than half a acre or 25,000 <br /> square feet on the Pope side. <br /> 9. The approximate depth will be 15-20 ft <br /> 10. Approximately 50,000 cubic yards will be removed TOTAL (including Corey Adam's portion <br /> of the pond) <br /> 11. Explosives will not be used <br /> 12. The site of extraction was an already existing natural pond. The water will be pumped down <br /> during extraction of materials. The landowner has applied for a Well Permit with the <br /> Colorado Division of Water Resources. Approval for this permit is pending. <br /> 13. The land owner will not receive compensation from the proposed material extraction. <br /> 14. The area of extraction will be used as a source of irrigation for an alfalfa field on the <br /> property and will be beneficial to fish, birds and other wildlife in the area. The area <br /> surrounding the pond will be reseeded using appropriate weed free seed mix. There are no <br /> documents to support this. <br /> 15. The land owner has applied for a well permit with Colorado Division of Water Resources. <br /> No other agencies have required a permit to proceed with the project. <br /> 16. This project is funded by the landowners only. <br /> 17. The post mining site is on private land and will be for personal use such as fishing and <br /> irrigation. <br /> 18. The types and sizes of equipment being used are: 2- 330 Track hoes, 1-310 back hoe and a <br /> 35 ton haul truck. <br />
