Due to the variable nature of the gravel deposit, please
allow the following estimations based on approximately 200 drill hole lake bed depth values to
satisfy the expected mine depth but understand that they are a very educated approximation of
the maximum deposit depth.
Proposed Mining Area 1 —20 feet
Proposed Mining Area 2—30 feet
Proposed Mining Area 3 —30 feet
Proposed Mining Area 4—20 feet
Proposed Mining Area 5 —30 feet
2. Pursuant to Rule 6.4.4 (g), please provide clarification regarding aggregate produced as a
secondary commodity. On page D-8 of the application it states that aggregate may be
sold as a byproduct. On page D-9 of the application it states that hauling will not occur,
and on page D-13 it states that it is not anticipated that commercial gravel will be
produced.
The mention of aggregate as a secondary commodity is included in the permit application to
honor the provision included in the lease between the land owner and the operator. However, as
stated on pages D-9 and D-13, no hauling or sale of commercial gravel is anticipated or intended.
Any changes to this plan will be submitted as a technical revision prior to release of none gold
assets from the site.
