Supporting documents are attached.
6.4.3 EXHIBIT C -Pre-mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of Affected Lands
...Please update the three maps (C-1, C-2 and F-1) to distinguish between "permit boundary"
and "affected area boundary"while keeping in mind affected area includes topsoil and
overburden stockpile storage areas (please see Comment 5 below and include topsoil and
overburden stockpile locations on Map C-2). Be aware ifyou wish to include the entire permit
boundary as affected area the Division will require additional Commitments limiting the type of
activity allowed in the Hardscrabble Creek area.
Maps C-1, C-2, and F-1 have been revised to show that the permit boundary and affected area
boundary are the same. Additionally, setbacks from the creek have been identified on the same
maps.
6.4.4 EXHIBIT D—Mining Plan
Topsoil and overburden handling_ The text was only revised to correct the topsoil stockpile dimensions,
not the overburden stockpile dimensions. As the text in Exhibit D requires a revised date in the footer,
please also correct the overburden stockpile dimensions: the 00 foot high overburden stockpile will
extend 60 feet in both directions from the crest, making it 1200 feet wide, not 60 feet as indicated. Please
revise the text for the widths of the topsoil and overburden stockpiles.
The overburden stockpile dimensions have been corrected. See the revised Exhibit D.
6.4.5 EXHIBIT E—Reclamation Plan
Post-Reclamation site drainage: The response states the operator will maintain a
sufficient buffer from creeks to prevent capture.
