This moved
loose material from the upper portion of the slide and removed material that was placed in order to
create a haul road for the scrapers. The work in the slide area was recommended by Ground
Engineering and appears to have been successful as we have seen no movement in the slide area since
completion of this work. Water continues to leach out of the lower part of the slide area.
On Monday, August 6t", ground Engineering had a geologist on site. He toured the areas adjacent and
above the slide area and did not note anything unusual. He also evaluated the slide area and marked
locations for five test holes that will be drilled on Tuesday, August 7t"
Thanks,
ki(f.
Stanley C.
