The release occurred at approximately 6:30 pm on April 4, 2018. <br /> The following points address the requirements of Rule 8, section 8.2.3: <br /> a. Actions taken to respond to and correct the emergency situation or condition <br /> • A small amount of tailings material appears to have frozen to the bed of a haul truck, which <br /> was then used to transport stemming material. Once the stemming material was dumped, <br /> approximately one cubic yard of the tailings material left the bed of the haul truck(see Photo <br /> 1). Approximately two cubic yards of the tailings and stemming material was immediately <br /> removed and transported to VLF 2. <br /> b. Any known or adverse impacts to human health, property or the environment <br /> No impacts to human health or the environment were observed or are expected to occur due to <br /> the material type, location of release, and the prompt clean up. <br />
