COLORADO <br />Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />March 15, 2018 <br />Mr. Mark Johnson <br />Bestway Concrete Company <br />301 Centennial Dr. <br />Milliken, CO 80543 <br />Re: Nissen Farm Resource, Permit M2003-001, Technical Revision Approval, Revision TR02 <br />Mr. Johnson: <br />On March 15, 2018 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved the Technical Revision application <br />submitted to the Division on March 14, 2018, addressing the following: <br />Remove restriction of 23.1 acres ntav disturbance, revise the mitring plait and map, provide DRMS with SED approval <br />ofshmy tivall repair. <br />The above terms of the Technical Revision TR02 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit M2003- <br />001. All other conditions and requirements of Permit M2003-001 remain in full force and effect. <br />A revised bond calculation was submitted with TR02, however, it was not reviewed in detail by the Division. Per Rule <br />4.14.1 (2)(a) any request for surety reduction must be made in writing separate from other correspondence. The <br />revisions above are approved under the currently held reclamation bond of $547,800.00. <br />This site has been relatively inactive for quite some time, and has gone through a succession of operators since the <br />permit was approved over a decade ago. DRMS would like to take this opportunity to encourage the operator, permittee <br />to review in detail the currently approved mining and reclamation plans to ensure that current and future activity on site <br />complies with existing permit requirements, and that any further revisions to the mining and reclamation plans are <br />submitted for DRMS approval as needed. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />Eric C.
