Box 773598 <br />Steamboat Springs, CO 80477 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Proposed Decision <br /> Permit Renewal Application No. 5 (RN-5) <br /> Hayden Gulch Loadout (Permit No. C-1992-081) <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Routt County Commissioners: <br /> <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is <br />proposing to approve a renewal application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The <br />application was submitted by Hayden Gulch Terminal, LLC on August 31, 2017, for the Hayden <br />Gulch Loadout. <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request <br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication <br />of this notice by the Division in the Steamboat Pilot. <br /> <br />The loadout mine is located approximately 2 miles Southeast of Hayden, Colorado. The permit <br />area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />Portions of: E1/2 Sec. 10, W1/2,SE1/4, and SW1/4 Sec. 14, E1/2E1/2 Sec. 15, NE1/4 Sec. 22, <br />N1/2NW1/4 Sec. 23, S1/2N1/2, and NW1/4 Sec. 24, Township 6 North, Range 88 West of the 6th <br />P.M. Portions of: SW1/4, SE1/4, and NE1/4 Sec.17, SE1/4 Sec. 18, N1/2 Sec. 19, Township 6 <br />North, Range 87 West of the 6th Principal Meridian. <br /> <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the <br />above address and Hayden Public Library, 201 E. Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, CO 81639. A Copy <br />of the Division's “Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance” is available at your County <br />Clerk and Recorder’s office.
