Our initial review indicates that all preliminary items required by Rule 2.08.4(5) have <br />not been submitted. Thus, your application is incomplete for the purposes of filing as of June 13, <br />2017. <br /> <br />1. The Division understands that MR-171 proposes to disturb an additional 10.77 acres associated <br />with the 21 proposed boreholes. A number of these boreholes are in areas previously not approved <br />to be disturbed. Cultural and historic resource information was not included with the MR-171 <br />submittal to identify and evaluate important historic and archeological resources that may be <br />eligible for listing. Please provide to the Division for review, a description of the cultural and <br />historic resources that are listed or have the potential to be listed and significant known <br />archaeological sites existing within the proposed disturbance area, or provide to the Division <br />justification that such inventories will not be required under Rule 2.04.4. <br /> <br />2. No discussion was submitted identifying the proposed activities affects on possible threatened <br />and endangered species and fish, wildlife, and the related environmental values. In order to comply <br />with Rules 2.04.11 and 4.18 please provide information to the Division for review discussing the <br />effects of the proposed activities with regard to the protection of fish, wildlife, and the related
