Reilley Divisio^i g & safety <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Re: 'Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010), Permit Revision application No. 8 (PR -8) Permit <br />Revision No. 8 Response to PR -7 stipulations HC #67393) <br />Dear Ms. Reilley: <br />"Thank you for your recent correspondence dated May 12, 2017 (received by our office on May 18, <br />2017) regarding the subject undertaking. <br />As the abo\'e referenced permit revision does not propose additional surface disturbance, it is our <br />opuiion that a finding of no historic properties affected is appropriate for the proposed undertaking <br />pursuant to 36 CFR 800.4(d)(1). <br />The consultation process does involve other consulting parties such as local governments and 'Tribes, <br />which as stipulated in 36 CFR 800.3 are required to be notified of the undertaking. Additional <br />information provided by the local government, Tribes or other consulting parties may cause our office <br />to re-evaluate our comments and recommendations. <br />If previously unidentified archaeological resources are discovered in the course of the project, work <br />must be interrupted until the resources are properly evaluated in terms of the National Register of <br />I Iistoric Places eligibility criteria (36 CFR 60.4) in consultation with our office. <br />Thank you for the opportunity- to comment.
