Bowles: <br />We received your correspondence dated Februan• 3, 2017 and Febrtian, 15, 2017, on February 13, 2017 and <br />February 21, 2017, respectively, initiating consultation with our office under Section 106 of the National <br />I hstoric preservation Act (36 CFR 800) and in accordance with the May 1991 Memorandum of Understanding <br />between our offices for the above referenced permitting activities. <br />After re\ icw of the documentation pro-, ided to our office and the permit application records available on your <br />website, we believe that a finding of no historic properties affected [36 CFR 800.4 (d) (1)J is appropriate for the <br />above referenced activities. <br />Should unidentified archaeological resources be discovered in the course of the project, work must be <br />interrupted until the resources have been evaluated in terms of the National Register eligibility criteria (36 <br />C' R 60.1) in consultation with our office pursuant to 36 CFR 800.13. Also, should the consulted -upon <br />scope of the work change please contact our office for continued consultation under 36 CFR 800. <br />\\ c request being involved in the consultation process with the local government, which as stipulated to 36 <br />CFR 800.3 is required to be notified of the undertaking, and with other consulting parties. Additional <br />intOrmation provided by the local government or consulting parties might cause our office to re-evaluate our <br />eligibilit\ and potential effect findings. Please note that our compliance letter does not end the 30-daly review <br />Period provided to other consulting parties. <br />\Ve thank you for the opportunity to comment.
