On January 30, 2017, the Division received responses and documents from Ivan <br />Geer, regarding the Adequacy Review. <br />1. Per Rule 6.4.5(2)(f)(iv), please inform the Division on the method of seeding the Applicant intends <br />to use. A seed mix was submitted in the application, but was not specified if the rates provided <br />are for drill or broadcast seeding. If the seed is to be broadcast, the application rate shall be twice <br />the rate required for seed drilling. If the seedbed has not been adequately roughened prior to <br />seeding, the seed shall be raked or harrowed after broadcast application. The Response is <br />Adequate. <br />2. Per Rule 3.1.10 (5), To ensure the establishment of a diverse and long lasting vegetative cover, <br />the Operator shall employ appropriate techniques of site preparation and protection such as <br />mechanical soil conditioning by discing and ripping; mulching; soil amendments and fertilizers; <br />and irrigation. Please amend the reclamation plan to include these specifics. The Response is <br />Adequate. <br />3. Will any fuel or other hydrocarbon products be stored on site? If so commit to keeping them in a <br />secondary containment at all times. The Response is Adequate. <br />4. At the time of the Application submittal, a crusher will be used on site. Are there any plans to <br />include an Asphalt Plant? If so, please commit to submitting a Technical Revision to the Division <br />in the future for approval of an Asphalt Plant or any other Temporary or Permanent Structures. <br />The Response is Adequate. <br />5. Will there be any permanent structures such as offices/shops/ etc.?
