(Tri-State) is submitting the <br />enclosed "Application Form for a Revision to a Coal Mining and Reclamation Permit" for a technical <br />revision application on behalf of the Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation, LLC New Horizon Mine. <br />Tri-State is the parent company of Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation. The New Horizon Mine <br />operates under the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DBMS) Permit No. C-1981-008. <br />Technical Revision No. 76 (TR -76) is being submitted to incorporate the as -built certification <br />for Pond 018 into the PAP. TR -76 also proposes to add culvert C181 to Attachment 2.05.3(3)-1 and <br />Map 2.05.3(3)-1. Finally, TR -76 proposes two additional volumes to the PAP due to size constraints <br />of the currently approved permit application package. <br />Also enclosed please find a revision application and a change of index sheet to ease <br />incorporation of these materials in to the permit.
