organisms , may  cause long t erm adv erse effects  in t he aquatic env ironment". So, while we do hav e s ome c oncern,
we do feel t hat you will exerc is e  proper measures to minimiz e any  negat iv e impac ts to the aquat ic  environment .
Giv en that, and as  you state, " the proposed feed rate of 20 mg/l will be c ons umed in t he react ion with s us pended
s olids, with little or no residual in the dis c harge to the stream"....and that y ou are 'c onfident that y ou c an meet your
permit  effluent limit s  (whic h inc lude WET tes ting) while us ing this  treatment  method', and t hat we are as s uming that
any  biologic al and/or c hemical monitoring will cat ch any  issues  associated with this, we are ok  with y ou moving
f orward with this new t reat ment approac h.
I  invite any others to provide c omments  to Jerry  regarding this  issue. I  am s ending this  e­mail as c onditional approval,
but pleas e understand t hat Sherm or J im/St eve may ins ist  t hat a s igned letter is  neces s ary. If s o, they  will  work to
provide y ou said let ter.
