Twentymile Coal, LLC. has submitted a revision (MR296) to the approved permit for the Foidel Creek Mine
(DRMS Permit No. C-1982-056) to install, operate and reclaim two new boreholes. One borehole will be a
monitoring and control borehole, which will allow air to be drawn from the sealed mine areas by an exhauster
unit. The second borehole will be used as a grout or utility pipe and a power drop or communication cable
drop. The installation will consist of a new light -use road, the new borehole pad; adjacent soil material
stockpiles, two cased and grouted boreholes extending into the Wolf Creek Coal Seam mine working, a
surface blower installation, and a powerline extension to provide power to the blower units. Currently
Twentymile Coal has identified three potential borehole locations, however only one location will be developed
and completed. Attached are maps that depicts the proposed project. Twentymile Coal estimates an
additional 4.2 acres of surface disturbance will be necessary for this project. The proposed project area is
located in Section 11, Township 5 North, Range 86 West of the 6th P.M.
