(EFCI) is hereby submitting a revised Annual Reclamation Report (ARR) form for
the 2015 report. Two changes were made to the previously submitted form as follows:
• The Phase I released acreage was changed from 81.8 acres to 83.1 acres. We discussed this
number with the Division and agreed that 83.8 acres is the correct combined total of acres released
in the approved SL -01 and SL -02 bond release applications.
• The acres in long-term mining or reclamation facilities was changed from 18.7 acres to 19.7 acres.
This value is 0.8 acres less than the 20.5 acres shown on the 2014 ARR. The reason for this
difference is due to slight inaccuracies in the acreages reported in previous years for this category.
The mine site and loadout are now completely reclaimed with the exception of a very small area at
the mine site. Therefore, for the 2015 report, EFCI has calculated 19.7 acres as the correct value
based on the total reported disturbed acres (106.3) minus the acres reported as graded and seeded
(86.3), and minus acres yet to be reclaimed (0.3).
Please find attached copy of the revised 2015 ARR form for the Southfield Mine.
Please contact me if you have any questions or require further information.
Sincerely,
Allen S.
