Bowles: <br />Thank you for your correspondence dated December 14, 2015 (received by our office on December 18, 2015) <br />regarding the above referenced technical revision. <br />After review of the documentation provided including J.E. Stover and Associates' letter dated December 2, <br />2015, it does not appear that the proposed undertaking has the potential to cause effects on historic properties, <br />if any such are present. Consequently, it is our opinion that a finding of no historic properties affected is <br />appropriate for the proposed undertaking pursuant to 36 CFR 800.4(d)(1). <br />The Section 106 consultation process does involve other consulting parties such local governments and Tribes <br />which as stipulated in 36 CFR 800.3 are required to be notified of the undertaking. Additional information <br />provided by these or other consulting parties may cause our office to re-evaluate our comments and <br />recommendations. <br />Should unidentified archaeological resources be discovered in the course of the project, work must be <br />interrupted until the resources have been evaluated in terms of the National Register of Historic Places eligibility <br />criteria (36 CFR 60.4) in consultation with our office. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
