October 6, 2015 <br />Chris Gilbreath <br />Colowyo Coal Company L.P. <br />1100 West 116th Avenue <br />Westminster, CO 80234 <br />RE: Colowyo Mine, Permit C-1981-019 <br />Review of Discharge Monitoring Reports, first and second quarters 2015 <br />Dear Mr. Gilbreath: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety reviewed and found the above referenced reports <br />to be in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(2). <br />Seven CDPS outfalls were observed discharging during the first quarter: <br />• Streeter Pond, Outfall 001A <br />• Work Area Pond, Outfall 002A <br />• Gossard Pond, Outfall 003A <br />• Stoker Siding Pond, Outfall 005A <br />• Prospect Pond, Outfall 007A <br />• East Taylor Pond, Outfall O1 OA <br />• West Taylor Pond, Outfall 011A. <br />During the second quarter, all of these but the Work Area Pond were discharging at the time of <br />monitoring.
