According to Rule 4.2.1(1) and (2), the Division may review a <br /> financial warranty at any time to determine if the amount is sufficient to perform reclamation.The Division currently <br /> holds a financial warranty of$14,260.00. The Division has calculated a reclamation cost estimate for the Weathers <br /> Mine#Ibased on the submitted and approved mining and reclamation plans and from site observations made on July <br /> 8, 2014. The Division calculated the cost to reclaim the proposed affected disturbance to be$22,000.00. This is an <br /> increase of$7,740.00 from the current financial warranty held. <br /> In accordance with Rule 4.2.1(2),the Operator is required to submit this additional amount within 60 days <br /> of this letter (October 20, 2014). If you wish to submit a different type of financial warranty, there are various <br /> application forms on our website at mining.state.co.us.
