("EFRI") received the Colorado Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety Mineral Program Inspection Report (the "Report") regarding the July 8,
2014 inspection of the Van 4 Mine(the "Mine"). The Report identified one corrective action that required
attention at the Mine.
Page 2 of the Report noted an infestation of Russian knapweed between the hoist house and shaft. On
August 3, 2014, EFRI implemented the approved weed control plan by contracting BackCountry
Vegetation Management, LLC to spray/treat the Russian knapweed and any other state-listed noxious
weeds present on site. The treatment was completed on August 3, 2014 and the Pesticide Application
Records are included as Attachment 1 to this letter.
If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me at 303-3894167.
Yours very truly,
a
/4;WUELS,) SOURCES(USA)INC.
Jaime Massey,
Regulatory.-Compliance Specialist
cc: Harold R.
