A slurry wall has been constructed around the perimeter of the pit and <br /> the lining of the Perry Pit has been approved by the State Engineer in a letter dated June 9, 2006. <br /> During the September 2013 flooding there we some damages sustained to the slurry wall. J&T <br /> Cons Iting, Inc. is working with the Consolidated Mutual Water Company, who owns the land and the City <br /> of Fo Lupton, who is leasing the site for storage to make the repair to the existing slurry wall. The <br /> Appli ant indicated that the costs associated with the repairing of the slurry wall were not considered to <br /> be part of the proposed financial warranty reduction. In addition, a new 90-day leak test must be <br /> performed by the City of Fort Lupton and J&T Consulting, Inc. <br /> The State Engineer's Office recommends approval for the proposed financial warranty reduction for the <br /> Perry Pit, provided the new 90-day leak test meets the standard of the State Engineer Guidelines for <br /> Lining Criteria for Gravel Pits and is approved by the State Engineer.
