Installation of this power line would include construction of a line beginning at the
substation just south of the Carlton entrance and terminating just north of the dump pocket. This
power line was not included in the original application for AM10 (see attached drawing C-3
Proposed Facilities Buildings and Utilities). TR-72 is entirely within the permit boundary of the
AM 10 on previously disturbed ground. It will cross State Highway#67 running parallel to Black
Hills existing ring line to the backside of Victor. Hence visually it is conjoined with an existing
power line. A permit has been received from CDOT by Black Hills for this crossing (see
attached). This revision provides an update, for ultimate demolition of the line, to the financial
warrantee estimation for AM 10.
CC&V is working with Teller County to insure the new development meets the terms of that
agreement, to make a minor modification to the Cresson Project Mine Development Plan
("MDP") and apply for appropriate building permits for the tower complex.
CC&V is planning to construct the power line in June/July of 2014, following approval of this
TR by the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety ("DRMS") and appropriate
approvals from Teller County.
