As an FYI...there are no
dwellings, pipelines, proposed trenches, proposed structures, or debris disposal areas in the exploration area.
Land excavations (cuttings pits)will be on the pad locations depicted on the project map. We can add a typical
drill pad layout that shows excavations. There are no unique topographic or drainage features potentially
impacted by the proposed drilling. Would a footnote on the map explaining the absence of these features suffice
with the revised map? Ecosphere to address
2. —You require copies of all federal lease documents, any lease modifications; lease agreements with
Dunn/Ute/Stephens; surface access agreements; and an approved Federal Coal Exploration Plan. As your office
is aware, we are in the process of preparing an Environmental Assessment in coordination with the Tres Rios and
State BLM offices. The requested documents are also being assembled for inclusion with either the EA or the
BLM's records. Federal approval of the exploration is not anticipated until late summer. GCC to address
3. —A seed mixture has been requested from the UMU but has not yet been provided. Also needed for the EA.
Ecosphere to address
https://mail.g oog le.conVmai I/u/0/?ui=2&i Ire29129fcb5&viev--pt&search=i nbox&th=14691 aecee5e36c7&si ml=14691 aecee5e36c7 1/3
