PROOF OF PUBLICATION <br />FORT LUPTON PRESS <br />COUNTY OF WELD SS. <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />I, Christopher Harrop, do solemnly swear that I am <br />the Managing Editor of the Fort Lupton Press is a <br />weekly newspaper printed and published in the <br />County of Weld State of Colorado, and has a general <br />circulation therein; that said newspaper has been <br />published continuously and uninterruptedly in said <br />county of Weld for a period of more than fifty -two <br />consecutive weeks prior to the first publication of the <br />annexed legal notice or advertisement; that said <br />newspaper has been admitted to the United States <br />mails as second -class matter under the provisions of <br />the act of March 3, 1879, or any amendments thereof, <br />and that said newspaper is a weekly newspaper duly <br />qualified for publishing legal notices and <br />advertisements within the meaning of the laws of the <br />State of Colorado. That the annexed legal notice or <br />advertisement was published in the regular and entire <br />issue of every number of said weekly newspaper for <br />the period of TWO consecutive insertion(s) and <br />that the first publication of said notice was in the issue <br />of newspaper, dated 23rd day of April 2014 the last <br />on the 30th day of April 2014 <br />i <br />Managing Editor, Subscribed and sworn before <br />me, this 30th day of April 2014 <br />Notary Public. <br />February 2, 2018 <br />Notice of Proposed Decision <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety has issued a <br />proposed decision to Approve Surety <br />Increase No. 1 (SI-1) for the <br />Keenesburg Strip Mine, Permit No. C- <br />1981 -028. The mine is operated by <br />Coors Energy Company under the <br />provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal <br />Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. As a <br />result of Midterm Review No. 6 (MT6), <br />the Division is initiating a performance <br />bond adjustment in accordance with <br />Rule 3.02.2(4). The affected area is <br />located in Weld County, approximately 7 <br />miles North of Keenesburg, Colorado. <br />Copies of the proposed decision are <br />available for review at the Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety office, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, <br />and on the Division's website at <br />http: / /mining.state.co.us /Reports /Mining <br />Data /Pages /Imaged Document Data.aspx <br />A user's guide for our document <br />imaging system is also available in pdf <br />format at the same web address. <br />Any person who has an interest which is <br />or may be adversely affected may <br />request an adjudicatory hearing <br />regarding this proposed decision. <br />Requests for a hearing must be made in <br />writing within thirty (30) days of the first <br />publication of this notice, and shall state <br />with reasonable specificity the reasons <br />for the request and objections to the <br />proposed decision. <br />Published in the Fort Lupton Press April <br />23 and 30, 2014 <br />
