All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL) is proposing to expand Pond D, and relocate the diversion ditches upgradient of Gob Pile 92 in advance of a request to expand Gob Pile 92. The proposed expansion of Pond D would result in the removal and destruction of the Coal Sales house associated with the historic King Mine. Five acres of additional disturbance and a reclamation performance bond increase are proposed. The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 5 miles Northeast of Paonia, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: Portions of Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, and 22, Township 13 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. Portions of Sections 33 and 34, Township 12 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M.
