The proposed permit boundary encompasses approximately
456 acres with only about 382 acres currently planned for
mining. However, the affected land boundary essentially follows
the permit boundary to allow for reclamation activities and
future potential mining operations.
2. Areas not disturbed by mining may be disturbed by access
roads, stockpiles, material processing, or backfilling and other
reclamation related activities. The remaining area will consist
of setbacks and road and utility right -of -ways.
3. Setbacks from the mine pit top of slope to the proposed
permit boundary or man -made structures not owned by the
applicant will be 50 feet or greater.
4. Items owned by the applicant or property owner located within
the permit area such as un- improved roads, fences, water
wells and associated pumps, and other structures may be
removed or relocated during mining and reclamation.
5. Test pits have verified that commercial deposits of sand and
gravel exist up to 25 feet below the surface of the ground.
6. Groundwater is not expected to be encountered during mining.
7. During mining adjacent to Lone Tree Creek drainage,
precautions will be taken to not disturb the creek channel and
associated wetlands.
8. A portable processing facility for product crushing and
screening and a portable asphalt plant will be brought to the
site and used as needed. The facilities will be located within
the pit close to where active mining is occurring.
9. A mine office /scale house trailer and maintenance building will
be established near the site entrance.
10. Best Management Practices will be used to limit discharge of
stormwater and sediment onto adjacent properties and
waterways.
50'
5' -25'
AGGREGATE
r
H ao MINING
z HIGHWALL
w o / HISTORIC
a m f GROUND
TYPICAL MINING SECTION
AT PERMIT BOUNDARY
rn
AGGREGATE m
z
Z_
OVERBURDEN M
FLOOR
N.T.S.
5' -10'
I
EXCAVATED PIT
BOTTOM, GRADE LONE TREE "
TO DRAIN CREEK CHANNEL
TYPICAL MINING SECTION
BORDERING LONE TREE CREEK
AGGREGATE
EXCAVATED PIT
BOTTOM, GRADE
TO DRAIN
U)
J
z
Z
g
5' -10'
15' -20'
LONE TREE
CREEK CHANNEL
TYPICAL MINING SECTION
BORDERING LONE TREE CREEK
APR 0 9 2014
DMSION OF RECLAMATION
0
0
d '>
C w
K
L
0
Z
C
I
U
W
Z
O
O
a
J
I_
r
r
a
Z)
W
W
N
U o
J 0
0
c ro
o ppa
a N U
t N C
w rs
O o
maw
Jc C: -
G
T 0
r
W
O
W
Of
J
Z
O
U
G
v!
UJ
m z
X
W
1
0.
O
O
O
U
Z
O
U
❑
J
W
Date: December, 2013
Job No: 590 -003
Drawn: C.
