That the annexed legal notice or advertisement was published in the regular and entire issues of every number of said weekly newspaper for the period of a consecutive insertions; and that the first publication of said notice was in the issue of the newspaper dated RA)A__:�t_A.D., 20_j_A _, and that the last publicati n of said notice was in the issue of said newspaper dated b A.D., 20 I U LEGAL NOTICES NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposes to Approve Permit Revision Application No. 8, submitted by Western Fuels - Colorado, LLC for a coal mining permit at the New Horizon Mine (Permit No. C- 1981-008). The revision addresses prime farmland reclamation pract ices, including topsoil redistribution and revegetation plans; replacement of the irrigated cropland technical standard with a reference area; and determination of prime farmland areas. The New Horizon Mine is a surface operation located in Montrose County, approximately 1.7 miles Northwest of Nucla, Colorado. Coal interest is Private, and the surface to be affected is Private land. The permit area encompasses approxi- mately 926.06 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 3433101, et seq., CR.S., and the regulations promulgated thereunder. Copies of the proposed decision, including any stipulations, are on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203 and at the Montrose County Courthouse, 300 Main Street, Nucla, CO 81424. Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the proposed decision. Such request roust be made within thirty (30) days of the initial publication of this notice, must be in writing, and must state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and the objections to the proposed decision.
