The revision addresses prune farmland reclamation practices, including topsoil redistribution and revegetation pLws; replacement of the irrigated cropland technical standard with a reference area. and determination of prime farmland areas. The New Horizon Mine is a surface operation Icwtcd in Montrose County, approximately 1.1 miles Northwest of Nucla, Colorado. Coal interest is Private, and the surface to be affected is Private land. The permit area encompasses approxi. mutely 91.6.06 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 3433101, et seq.. C.RS., and the regulations promulgated thereunder. Copies of the proposed decision, including any stipulations, are on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. Room 215.
