pnhlin NntinP <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the <br />Colorado Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on October 10, 2013, a minor revision application <br />(MR -141) to the Bowie No. 2 Mine, Permit No. C- 1996 -083, operated by Bowie Resources, LLC, <br />P.O. Box 483, Paonia, CO 81428 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. Bowie <br />Resources, LLC is proposing to revise the disturbed area boundary to include a new cover material <br />stockpile area and abandon plans to disturb an area east of the existing topsoil stockpile. This will <br />result in a 0.1 acre net decrease in disturbed acreage. Bowie Resources, LLC is also proposing to <br />designate a drying area for up to a maximum of 200,000 cubic yards of gob material to be temporarily <br />placed un- compacted in the approved Gob Pile #3 disturbance area. The material will be stored in the <br />drying area in the winter months, when compaction efforts are hampered by snow and freezing <br />temperatures. When conditions allow, the material will subsequently be placed and compacted in the <br />approved refuse disposal area in accordance with the approved refuse disposal plan.
