The Surface operation is operated by Coowyo Coal Company L.P. under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The bond release application was submitted by Colowyo Coal Company L.P. on April 2, 2013. SL -07 is a Phase I Bond Release ap- plication encompassing 125.2 acres in West Pit, East Pit, and South Taylor areas. The af- fected area is located in Moffat, No Blanco County /Counties, approximately 28 miles South of Craig, Colorado.
