(D -J9 -2) was constructed as designed but at an interim location west of its final design
location. The lower collection ditch was constructed as designed.
The western side of the coal mine waste pile has been cleared of all organic material
and coverfill has been salvaged so it is ready to accept refuse material. The eastern
side of the coal mine waste pile will need some topsoil and coverfill salvaged before
refuse material can be placed. The french drain mentioned above will need to be
constructed through the central portion of the pile.
To the best of my knowledge and belief, with the exceptions noted above regarding the
location of interim ditches, the coal mine waste bank founding and drainage system
were constructed in accordance with the approved plan and meet the requirements of
the Regulations of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. As stated above,
more work needs to be performed to salvage available topsga and coverfill material
before refuse is placed in the eastern portion of the ch drain needs to
installed in the central portion of the pile.+`p' -- °o;!
/ Kt
Jars ZNtoveC.
