Woodland Ave., No. <br />Woodland Park, CO 80863 <br />Dear Mrs. Cowman: <br />We have received your Notice of Intent (NOI) to conduct prospecting activities on the Agnus <br />Dei unpatented mining claim located on National Forest System lands administered by the Pikes <br />Peak Ranger District in portions of sections 12 and 13, T. 14S., R.68W. 6th PM, El Paso County, <br />Colorado. <br />A Plan of Operations (POO) is not needed at this time, based on the information you have <br />provided. <br />A Poo will be required for my review and approval if you do any of the following: <br />• Fail to backfill any holes, pits or trenches; <br />• Cut any trees; <br />• Use mechanized equipment; <br />• Use roads that are not National Forest System (NFS) roads with motorized vehicles <br />(including OHV, see attached Motor Vehicle Use Map); <br />• Create new access routes or roads; <br />• Construct any structures or facilities; <br />• Place signage other than mine claim corner post identification; and <br />• Do anything that might cause a significant disturbance to surface resources. <br />No deviation from this NOI should occur without my prior written approval. Your notice of <br />intent is valid for one year or until December 31, 2013. Please submit a new NOI for any <br />proposed activities after one year. <br />Enclosed is information on the reclamation standards for your review and when appropriate <br />application. I ask that you follow these standards to remain within the definition of a Notice of <br />Intent, and to avoid the need for a Plan of Operations. Additionally, the claim located on <br />National Forest is also located witltthe Municipal Watershed of Colorado Springs as designated <br />in Cooperative Agreement dated January 9, 1924 for the purpose of conserving and protecting <br />the water supply of the City of Colorado Springs.
