Precautions shall also be taken to prevent damage to <br />underlying layers during placement. <br />• For slopes, special care shall be taken so that only full - length rolls are used at <br />the top of the slope. <br />• If necessary, the material shall be positioned by hand after being unrolled to <br />minimize wrinkles. <br />• Seams & Overlaps <br />o The geonet shall be secured or seamed at overlaps. <br />• Geonet Component <br />o Adjacent edges of geonet along the length of the geocomposite, shall be <br />overlapped 2 -3 inches, see Figure 1, or if approved by the Engineer based on the <br />site specific conditions, placed with the edges of each geonet butted against <br />each other, see Figure 2. These overlaps shall be joined by tying the geonet <br />
