As provided for in the Memorandum of
Understanding Between The State of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources, Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety and the USDA, Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Region,
executed 5/27/2010, we have reviewed the bond for sufficiency. I've determined that the
$41,000 will be sufficient.
I would like to clarify one detail that differs from that described in your 10/4/2011 letter. That
letter states that "two access berms "tank traps" are to be removed and re- established when the
drilling is complete." Actually, I have agreed with the operator that one will be removed for the
operation and then reconstructed. An additional two "tank traps" will be constructed in an area
where travel to the public is closed and there is presently an ineffective tank trap. The total to be
constructed will be three.
Thank you for your work on this project and for your coordination with the Gunnison Ranger
District. If you have further questions, please call Cathy Mask at 970 - 642 -4412.
Sincerely,
pv,l A P
JOHN R.
