Romanito was issued December 12, 1912. Table
I 1 has been revised accordingly.
2. Table 11 has been revised to the permit issue date of July 31, 1941 for the P. Thompson well.
3. Rechecking the DWR's database indicates that the DRMS' observation is correct and the
permit issue dates pertaining to the Dorchester Coal Company's wells have been corrected to
February 22, 1980 in Table 11.
4. a) Table 15 (surface water rights) pertaining to the City of Florence apparently listed a typo
concerning the correct location of Newlin Creek. Table 15 has been revised accordingly.
b) Concerning the Source for Seth Wright No. 2 ditch, rechecking the DWR database
indicates that the source as listed (Newlin Creek) in Table 15 is in accordance with the DWR
database. According to the USGS Rockvale 7.5 & 15 Minute Quadrangle Map, Section 35
encompasses the upper drainage area of Newlin Creek. Given that Hardscrabble Creek,
previously reported as the source, is 5 or 6 miles to the south and that there are two other
drainages in between Hardscrabble and the Southfield mine area, it is unlikely that
Hardscrabble pertained to Southfield's interest. EFCI assumes that the source previously
reported (1980's) was inaccurate. Further, the DWR database designates the Seth Wright No.
2 ditch as historical.
c) The name Spaulding has been updated in Table 15 to read the same as in the previously
approved Table 15 (Spaulding). However, the name Spaulding, for either structure name or
owner name is unlisted in the DWR's current database.
