CONTINUED FROM COVER SHEET <br />PERMITTEE: CHEYENNE COUNTY <br />M- 2007 -07 (Klement Pit): <br />This pit is only utilized on an "as needed" basis for the purpose of maintaining county <br />roads for the road and bridge district in the eastern part of the county. <br />M- 2000 -018 (Munsch Pit): <br />There was no mining activity conducted at this pit in the past year. There may be some <br />limited mining in the 2013 year. <br />M- 1984 -114 (Baker Pit): <br />This pit supplies a major supply of gravel on the western end of the county to service <br />county roads. <br />M- 1995 -042 (Lowe Pit #3): <br />This pit was recently inspected for guidance on how to reclaim proper slopes to close pit. <br />A technical revision was submitted and approved this year for slope revision. There is no current <br />mining in this pit, but road and bridge crews are hauling off stockpiles to reclaim land and <br />release pit. Moisture will be a contributing factor that will be needed to grow native grasslands <br />to original habitat. <br />M- 1983 -105 (County Pit #1): <br />There has been minimal mining completed at this pit. The county will continue to use <br />this pit on an "as needed" limited basis. <br />M- 1983 -106 (County Pit #2): <br />This pit continues to supply a major portion of gravel on the western county roads. <br />M- 1987 -118 (Lowe Pit #1): <br />This pit was released in March of 2013. <br />M- 1999 -083 (Rother Pit): <br />This pit has always been a valuable pit for servicing gravel on county roads. It is <br />anticipated it will be a major gravel pit for many years in the future. <br />
