As I'd mentioned during a recent inspection, MCC
plans to test various soil stabilization and mulching materials on the steep slopes of the
RPEE and associated haul roads this fall. The proposed seed mix is also planned to be
used to aid in establishing quick, deep- rooted and long -term vegetative cover. If successful,
these stabilization /mulching materials and seed mix will be used to reclaim other steep
slopes around the mine site.
Please contact me at (970) 929 -2238 or by e-mail should you have questions regarding this
submittal.
Sincerely,
Kathleen G.
