Hickenlooper <br />Governor <br />Mike King <br />Executive Director <br />Loretta E PAeda <br />Director <br />On July 29, 2013, the Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety completed the review of Technical Revision #1. <br />The Technical Revision proposes to reduce the approved lake size by 6 acres using inert back fill. The material <br />for the backfill will come from pipe trench spoil consisting of mostly silt, sand and gravel. The backfilled area is <br />proposed to be reclaimed as approved in the reclamation plan, with the exception of planting Russian olive <br />trees. The Division requires the following information so we can complete our review. <br />1) Please provide the required notice prior to importing inert fill in accordance with Rule 3.1.5(9). <br />2) Please submit a revised reclamation plan in accordance with Rule 6.4.5. <br />3) Please provide a new Reclamation Plan Map in accordance with Rule 6.4.6 of the Construction Materials <br />Rules and Regulations. <br />4) Please provide the letter from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment that states, <br />the site will not be required to obtain a certificate of designation as a land fill. <br />The decision date for this Technical Revision is August 23, 2013. If you need additional time to address our <br />concerns, please submit a written request to extend the decision date before the due date.
