PUBLIC NOTICE
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve the partial
release of coal exploration bond submitted by Cottonwood Land Company for Notice of Intent No.
X- 1998 - 219 -03. The bond was submitted to cover reclamation costs of alluvial groundwater
monitoring wells in Routt County. An inspection showed that all disturbances associated with two
abandoned wells have been adequately reclaimed. Based on the Division's estimate, $477.00 is
required to cover the cost to reclaim the remaining twelve monitoring wells.
The legal description for the wells being released is as follows: Sec.29 T5N R89W.
Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit
written comments, or a written request for an adjudicatory hearing before the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Board, to the Division at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203.
Such comments should be submitted within 30 days of the second publication of this notice.
Taken Down on Bulletin 8/2/2013
