Two of the lanowners of the Vento Trust <br /> property requested to meet at the mine site and accompany the Division during a regular inspection. The Division <br /> met Linda Saunders and Paula Coulter,representitives of the Vento Trust along Fremont County road No. 15,near <br /> MW-NW. <br /> The weather was partly cloudy with occasional thunderstorms moving through the area. During the inspection,the <br /> site received some light rains,but nothing measurable. There was lightening in the area. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Pond 4 was a topic of discussion. The Vento Trust members want Pond 4 to remain as permanent. The <br /> inspector explained that in order for Pond 4 to remain as a permanent structure,The Vento group needs discuss <br /> this with Energy Fuels Coal,Inc. (EFCI). EFCI will need to submit a technical revision to DRMS to propose to <br /> keep Pond 4 as a permanent structure. All applicable parties of the Vento Trust will need to submit signed letters <br /> regarding their request to keep Pond 4,the north access road, and their commitment to maintenance of the pond in <br /> accordance with Rule 4.05.9(13) and 3.03.1(3)(c). <br /> The Vento Trust members previously sent e-mail notices to DRMS requesting the pond remain. However,none of <br /> the e-mails contained signatures, and the request to retain structures as permanent needs to be revised in the <br /> permit. <br /> Linda Saunders has also indicated that the Vento Trust desires to keep MW-NW monitoring well permanent.
