Response to DRMS Adequacy Review #7 — Cotter SR -13A Mine Reclamation Plan Amendment <br />Cotter Corporation (N.S.L.) (Cotter) submits this response to the July 5, 2013 letter from Dustin <br />Czapla, Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety ( "DRMS "), to Glen Williams, Cotter. The <br />DRMS' comments are in italics and Cotter's responses are in bold. <br />SR -13A Mine, File No. M- 1977 -311, Amendment (AM1) Application <br />Adequacy Review #7 <br />RE: SR -13A Mine, File No. M- 1977 -311, Amendment (AMI) Application Adequacy Review (7) <br />Dear Mr. Williams: <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) is in the process of reviewing the <br />abovereferenced application in order to ensure that it satires the requirements of the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Act (Act) and the associated Mineral Rules and Regulations of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Hard Rock, Metal, and Designated Mining <br />Operations (Rules). On June 26, 2013 the Division approved the acreage reduction (AR -1), <br />which released 2.96 acres from further reclamation responsibility and reduced the permitted <br />area to 6.78 acres. As stated in the Division's May 9, 2013 letter regarding AR -1, the following <br />exhibits in the AM-1 application package will now require revision to reflect the changes made <br />to the permitted acreage. <br />1.
