(Permit No. C- 2009 -087) is requesting release of bond liability on 68.8 reclaimed acres of Pre -Law area currently within the permit boundary at the Peabody Sage Creek Mine (PSCM). The specific area (68.8 acres) to which this bond release request applies is included within the PSCM Permit Area. An example of the public notification letter sent to surface owners within and adjacent to the permit boundary, holders of easements on the property, and local government bodies providing written notice to seek release are included in the application package. The "Public Notice" was sent to the Steamboat Pilot to run four (4) consecutive publications. The first publication will occur on July 21, 2013. The "Proof of Publication" will be provided to the Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety upon receipt from the newspaper. Copies of this application have been provided to the appropriate agencies: DRMS, OSM, BLM, and CPW. The public copy is available at this office for review.
