The Division is required to make an approval or denial decision no later than <br />August 1, 2013 therefore; a response to the following adequacy review concerns should be <br />submitted to the Division as soon as possible. <br />The technical revision was submitted by J &T Consulting, Inc. on behalf of Loloff <br />Construction, Inc. Please provide a signed authorization letter for AT Consulting to <br />perform work and submit material for the Loloff Mine on behalf of Loloff Construction, Inc. <br />Rule 6.4.4 Exhibit D - Mining Plan <br />2. The approved mining plan for the site states the pit will be excavated to a 3HAV slope from <br />the existing grade to ten (10) feet below the waterline, and at a 2HAV slope from that point <br />down. The proposed mining plan states the entire pit slope will be mined at a 3H:1V slope. <br />Please explain how the existing 2HAV slopes will be backfilled or otherwise established and <br />stabilized at a 3HAV slope. <br />3. Please verify no new manmade structures or easements, including utility easements along <br />Balsam Avenue, have not been constructed within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected <br />lands since the Loloff Mine permit was issued by the Division. Please update Exhibit C — Pre - <br />mining and Mining Plan Map accordingly and submit proof of notice to the new structure or <br />easement owners. <br />4. The revised Mine Plan states since reclamation will occur concurrently with mining, it is not <br />anticipated that bedrock material will be stockpiled long -term prior to use if it is used in the <br />reclamation slopes. The revised mining plans states the pit slopes will be mined to the final <br />3H:1V slope.
